Itinerary
Day 01San Francisco - Yosemite National Park
Hotel: Yosemite Valley Lodge or similar
The tour will depart from San Francisco driving through the San Joaquin Valley and begin our adventures at Yosemite National Park with a Yosemite Valley tour.
We'll take a meal break before we see more amazing places in the park. In the evening, your independence begins to have dinner and check in to the lodging that you choose.
Tour Length - 11 hours approximately
6:00 - 7:00 Pick-ups start in Fisherman's Wharf area and continue towards downtown San Francisco.
7:00 - 9:00 Continuing east, see the windmills and descend into the San Joaquin valley and stop for a break and a snack.
9:15 - 11:00 Begin the climb into the foothills, through gold country, and up into the Sierra Nevada range and Yosemite National Park.
11:00 - 13:00 On your Yosemite tour, you will enjoy the amazing views of the Valley, El Capitan, Half Dome, and Yosemite Falls. Enjoy a hike to one of the park's waterfalls or lakes, or relax at the visitor's center where there are museums, restaurants, and the Ansel Adams Gallery.
13:00 - 17:00 Check out your options, check your bags, and check out Yosemite! And check your YARTS schedule for departure times, because you are staying outside the Park!
Evening - Check into your hotel, have a nice dinner, and maybe enjoy some time in the hot tub. Then get a good night’s sleep so you can get up early for another exciting day in Yosemite.

- Important Note: Depending on your Accommodation booked, you may need to take YARTS later in the day to get to your hotel near Yosemite. We strongly suggest going to the Information Desk in the Park Lodge to obtain a current schedule for YARTS and other important information.
Day 02Yosemite National Park
Hotel: Yosemite Valley Lodge or similar
You're on your own today to see and do whatever you choose. There are plenty of park activities to choose from including hiking, swimming, whitewater rafting, fishing and rock climbing.
Morning
Get up early and see the sunrise. Get dressed for the day and walk a few feet to the YARTS stop, so you can get started.
All day
You decide! Get some maps, talk to the rangers or the staff at the Village and the Lodge and get some ideas. DO NOT miss the last YARTS bus out! Ask for schedule updates.
IN WINTER:
Be prepared to walk on ice and snow – bring warm clothes, waterproof hiking boots, and mittens! Hike the valley, climb to the Top of Yosemite Falls, or take the Mist Trail beside the roaring Merced River. (Be careful, and ask Park staff about trail conditions.)
Evening
Check into the hotel, have a nice dinner, maybe spend some more time in the hot tub or watch some TV, and then get a good night’s sleep so you can get up early for another amazing day in Yosemite.
Day 03Yosemite National Park - San Francisco
You have more than half of the day to see landmarks or participate in recreation activities before meeting for a last group tour at 1 pm. Then, we head back to San Francisco in late afternoon.
Tour Length - 14 hours approximately
7:00 - 8:00 Get up early, check out, grab your bags, and walk a few feet to the YARTS stop, so you can get started.
9:30 - 13:00 Spend the morning in Yosemite on your own. Grab a lunch, and get back to Yosemite Lodge.
13:30 - 16:00 Explore more of Yosemite on your own.
16:00 - 18:00 Start the return trip, descending from the Sierras, with more great scenery as we follow the sun to the west.
18:00 - 18:30 Stop for a break and a bite to eat.
18:30 - 20:30 Continue back to San Francisco, enjoying views of the sunset over the East Bay hills, or the Peninsula and the city lights.
20:30 - 21:00 The Yosemite tour ends at your San Francisco Hotel front door.
Hotel availability is subject to final confirmation.
The tour itself runs everyday, you can book the tour only and arrange accommodations by yourself, or comment your preferred dates to allow us to check if there are any other hotels available outside the park.
Please note that order of day-to-day itinerary is adjustable depending on tour start day.

We encourage guests to do their part and take the following “Touring Etiquette” precautions:

* Cover any cough or sneeze with a tissue and dispose of it
* Any flu-like symptoms, should reschedule their tour date - Cancellation and Change Policy:
12 more days prior to departure Date, will be charged 12% of the tour fee; within 11 days prior to departure, non-refundable. - For child under 8 years old:
Please note that for your child's safety, we require you to bring a child safety seat or booster seat for all children that are not at least 8 years of age or 4' 9" or 144 cm in height as dictated by California State Law. You will be required to provide your own child seat on all motor vehicle tours. Failure to provide a seat for your child will result in forfeiture of your seats on the tour without refund. If your child is 8 years or older or 4’9” in height you do not need to provide a child seat, however, please let us know. - As the hotel availability is easily sold out, please book your tour at least 30 days prior to departure day.
- We will always do what we can to make your trip enjoyable, but safety is our first priority so the route and the itinerary may be changed due to snow depth, road conditions, construction projects and detours. The giant sequoias hike on the Yosemite tour is dependent on snow levels and trail conditions from October to April.
- We offer pick-up at major hotels in downtown San Francisco or the Fisherman's Wharf area. Please note your hotel location in the comments column when booking. We will then confirm the availability for you.
- If you are staying in Yosemite over night, you need to depart the tour at lunch break. DO NOT GET BACK ON THE BUS AFTER LUNCH! There will be NO REFUNDS if you get back on the bus and start the return trip to San Francisco. Another vehicle and driver will pick you up at 2:45PM at Yosemite Shuttle stop number 7 on your return day.
- As a courtesy to fellow passengers, it's important to be on time. If clients are late or miss a scheduled pick-up time for the tour, please contact our office IMMEDIATELY. An alternative pick-up location may be arranged at the customer's expense, subject to availability. Any guest who misses their tour entirely will forfeit their seat on the tour. No refunds will be issued.
- Customers are allowed up to two items (ie. one personal item + one carry-on) to travel free of charge. These items must be within the size limitations. Each additional item above the allowance will incur a $50.00 excess luggage fee. Maximum Dimensions for Luggage - Carry on size: 22”x14”x9”, (or 56cm x 36cm x 23 cm). Any Oversize luggage larger than the maximum size noted is $50 regardless of personal items brought on board. (i.e. 1 Oversized Luggage - $50, 2 Oversized pieces = $100). We ask overnight guests to contact us at least 48 hrs in advance to inform us about additional and/or oversize luggage.
- We will assess a cleaning fee of up to $100 for any passenger who permanently stains or renders this vehicle temporarily unfit for passengers due to spillage of any substance such that the vehicle must be taken out of service and cleaned.
- The time we mentioned in the itinerary is for reference only. Please refer to your guide on tour for the actual arrangement. The visiting order and duration might be changed according to actual and practical situation for better service.
- This tour/activity is overseen by a select local operator in the region. Upon booking your tour or activity and after receiving confirmation, you will be issued an e-ticket detailing the local operator's name and contact information.
