The city’s Jewish Quarter, located in the Ciutat Vella (Old City), is the historic home of Barcelona’s Sephardic Jews. Aptly named "Alleyway," El Call is a maze of narrow streets where visitors will also find the Centre d’Interpretacio del Call, a museum dedicated to the history of the Jewish Quarter, as well as the Synagoga Mayor, believed to be one of the oldest synagogues in Europe which dates back to the 3rd century.
