Dingle Peninsula

This scenic peninsula in Ireland's County Clare was once called "The Most Beautiful Place on Earth" by "National Geographic Traveler." The Dingle Peninsula dates back nearly 6,000 years and features several historic sites including Gallarus Oratory, Gallarus Castle, Kilmalkedar Church and Ferriter's Cove. The Musaem Chorca Dhuibhne located in Baile offers many relics and historical information on the peninsula that was named after the nearby town of Dingle. The Dingle Peninsula was featured in films such as "Ryan's Daughter," "Far and Away," and "Leap Year."
