See the ruins of a castle that is believed to be the inspiration for Cair Paravel in the C.S. Lewis novel The Chronicles of Narnia. Dunluce Castle, part of which collapsed into the sea in 1639, is precariously perched atop a basalt crag not far from the world-famous Giant’s Causeway. The castle is accessible by a bridge connecting it to the mainland and is surrounded by steep drops on either side.
