Located in Nevada's oldest and biggest state park Valley of Fire, this canyon of the red sandstone that gives it its name was caused by moving sand dunes. While the park was established in 1935, the rock formations date back 150 million years. Petroglyphs by ancient Native Americans can be viewed on some of the rocks in the park. The canyon is a rainbow of colors and variety of shapes that will mesmerize you.
