Gatlinburg Tramway
Get the best views of the spectacular Smoky Mountains and its wildlife from this 2.1 mile cable car ride from Downtown Gatlinburg to Ober Gatlinburg Resort. The first tram cars installed in 1972 were replaced in 2007 with two aluminum alloy 120-passenger vehicles with 15 percent more viewing glass. Gatlinburg Aerial Tramway operates every 20 minutes and the ride last approximately 10 minutes.
