Often referred to as Georgia Tech, this Atlanta research university that was established in 1885 is currently made of the six colleges of Architecture, Computing, Engineering, Sciences, Ivan Allen College of Liberal Arts and Scheller College of Business. The technology institute is regularly named as one of the top ten public universities in the United States by U.S. News & World Report. Georgia Institute of Technology has more than 21,500 students and close to 1,000 full time faculty members. The school's fight song is "I'm a Ramblin' Wreck from Georgia Tech" and the Georgia Tech Yellowjacket's mascot is Buzz.
