Stretching out across the Bernese Alps, Jungfrau is a stunning region in southern Switzerland of towering mountains, freshly powdered slopes, and numerous adventures. It is most well known for Jungfraujoch, a "saddle" of the Alps that is only accessible by railway from Kleine Scheidegg, a must see stop on any Swiss holiday. But beyond this magical attraction, Jungfrau is also a skiers' mecca, with amazing slopes near Grindelwald, Murren, and Hasliberg. For those traveling in summer, however, there is still much to see and do, such as touring the enchanting lakes and waterfalls to hiking a zigzag collection of hiking trails.
