Five United States presidents lived in this refined Washington, D.C. area at one point during their careers and The Woodrow Wilson House is now a museum dedicated to him. U.S. presidents William Taft, Warren G. Harding, Herbert Hoover and Franklin D. Roosevelt also resided in Kalorama at one time. Much of Kalorama's architecture is Art Deco or Victorian and the area contains more than 25 foreign embassies. Kalorama Triangle is on the U.S. National Register of Historic Places.
