The central London railway station was built in 1851-52 as a Great Northern Railway hub for England's capital city with platforms added throughout the years. King's Cross Station underwent a major renovation beginning in 2005 with new offices, platforms and an plaza constructed. The London landmark has been featured in many books, films and other media included "Harry Potter" novels and movies, "The Ladykillers" film and "Chariots of Fire" film.
