This Las Vegas museum takes visitors to explore the diverse wildlife and climate around the world from the United States' Mojave Desert to the African Savanna. Las Vegas Natural History Museum interactive exhibits are Treasures of Egypt, Engelstad Family Prehistoric Life Gallery, International Wildlife Gallery, Las Vegas Founders' African Galleries, E.L. Wiegand Foundation Wild Nevada Gallery, Marine Life Gallery, Geology Gallery and MGM/Mirage Young Scientist Center. It has a 35-foot long roaring Tyrannosaurus Rex, a 3,000-gallon aquatic tank with live sharks and sting rays and a 23-foot long mummified dinosaur.
