This 127-acre attraction located in Arcadia, Calif. near Los Angeles is full of beautiful flora and fauna including its signature peacocks. Los Angeles County Arboretum & Botanic Garden was created in 1947 when the State of California and City of Los Angeles joined forces to open an arboretum on the historic Rancho Santa Anita site. It features many different gardens with plants from all over the world, a wildlife sanctuary and historical structures including the Queen Anne Cottage.
