Mount Snow
This mountain with a summit of 3,600 feet is a popular area for skiing and is within the Green Mountains in Vermont. Mount Snow began as Mount Pisgah until it was purchased in 1953 and turned into a ski resort by Walt Schoenknecht. The resort's area continued to grow and is now owned by Peak Resorts. It hosted the Extreme Games in 1995 and the Winter X-Games in 2000 and 2001.
