Any visitor to Mexico City must visit the cultural center of the Palacio de Bellas Artes, home to the murals of Diego Rivera, Rufino Tamay, and David Alfaro Siqueiros as well as exhibitions on important works by Frida Kahlo. Beyond hosting artwork, the palace hosts events in opera, dance, theatre, literature, and music, including performances by the National Symphonic Orchestra and Ballet Folklórico de México Compania Nacional. Composed of a variety of architectural styles, the structure primarily features Art Nouveau for the exterior and Art Deco for the exterior.
