The noble Palffy family once owned this palace in Vienna’s Innere Stadt district. Now the Austrian Cultural Center plans events here, most notably live music performances. Built in 1357, the palace has two concert halls, Figaro (which seats 150) and Beethoven (which seats 250). They are impressively decorated in the Baroque style and feature many wall paintings. Mozart enthusiasts may already know that the composer performed in Figaro hall with his sister when he was only six years old.
