Construction began on the magnificent Park Gueell at the turn of the 20th century. Architect Antoni Gaudi, whom Eusebi Gueell had commissioned for work since 1878, mainly designed it. Today the park is divided into two parts: the monumental zone and the free access area. Purchasing a ticket to the monumental zone gains access to beautiful, mosaic-tiled structures within the park including the Dragon Stairway, Nature Square (which offers great views), and the Austria Gardens, among other attractions.
