Parnassus Fountain
This ornate fountain made of Eggenberg limestone is one of Brno's main attractions. Parnassus Fountain was completed in 1696 by the artist Johann Bernhard Fischer von Erlach. It features a cave with a grotto inside with a figure of Hercules with a three-headed Cerberus. The grotto also contains female statues representing ancient empires of Babylon, Persia and Greece.
