Officially called Wurstelprater Amusement Park, this Vienna landmark can easily be identified by its famous Ferris wheel. Prater Amusement Park's land was first opened to the public in 1766 by Emperor Joseph II. The park hosted the 1873 World Exposition, which was the only time Vienna held this event. It features more than 250 attractions including roller coasters and other rides, mazes, games, restaurants, a museum and a planetarium.
