The last remaining Delft Pottery Factory, the Royal Delft once stood with 31 other earthenware factories in Delft. Though it is the last remaining factory, it has operated for over 350 years without interruption and the primary producer of Royal Delft Pottery. Originally known only as Delft Blue, the royal family of the Netherlands award the company the "Royal" title in honor of its contribution to Dutch art, culture, and economics.
