Located in Prague's Old Town, this Neo-Renaissance music center was named after the Crown Prince Rudolf of Austria. The Rudolfinum was constructed from 1876–1884 and, like the Prague National Theatre Opera, was designed by architect Josef von Zitek and his student Josef Schulz. It is the home to the Czech Philharmonic and hosts the annual Prague Spring music festival. The Rudolfinum also features a contemporary art gallery called Galerie Rudolfinum.
