Somerset House
This grand riverside building that was originally built for royal societies today houses the Courtauld Gallery, which showcases a room of Rubens and works by Van Gogh, Renoir and Cezanne, and the Embankment Galleries. Somerset House features 55 water jets in its courtyard that have been programmed to dance, and in winter is London’s favorite ice rink. Somerset House is also home to London Fashion Week.
