Budapest’s largest church is named for Hungary’s first Christian king. St. Stephen’s right hand is actually mummified and enshrined here in the Chapel of the Holy Right Hand. A 315-foot dome that reaches the same height as the Parliament Building tops the basilica, which was built from 1851 through 1905. Visitors can climb or ride up to the top of the dome for views of Budapest.
