See the home of Mercedes and Porsche in this modern, fast-paced capital of Baden-Wurttemberg. Stuttgart is synonymous with German engineering and two of its biggest attractions are the Mercedes-Benz Museum that houses a replica of the 1885 Daimler Riding Car, the world’s first gasoline-powered vehicle, and the Porsche Museum, home to more than 80 vehicles including the 911 GT1 that won Le Mans in 1998. But it’s not all about cars in Stuttgart; the city is also home to a number of notable museums and the world-renowned Stuttgart Ballet.
