One of Europe's largest medicinal bath complexes is this blissful thermal springs site in Budapest City Park with 18 pools, 10 saunas and numerous spa services. Szechenyi Thermal Bath was built in 1913 and designed in Neo-baroque style by architects Gyozo Czigler and Eugene Schmitterer. Hot springs were discovered in City Park during the late 1800s thanks to mining engineer Vilmos Zsigmondy. Szechenyi Thermal Bath is Budapest's most popular spa complex and fed by the Saint Stephen Well.
