Telc Chateau
This Italian Renaissance chateau is one of Telc's most notable sites and guided tours are offered through its beautiful interior of ballrooms, halls, chapels and courtyards. Telc Chateau was originally a Gothic castle dating back to at least the 1300s. Lord Zacharias of Hradec had the castle transformed into a chateau during the 1500s bringing in master builders from Italy to perform the renovation. Notable rooms are Chapel of St. George, Golden Hall, African Hall and Knights' Hall.
