The Rotunda of Illustrious Men
Located within the Pateon de Dolores cemetery, the Rotunda honors individuals who have revered Mexican civil values with contributions to Mexican culture, military, and history. Since it's construction in 1872, more than 100 individuals have been laid to rest here, honoring various former presidents, the artist Diego Rivera, and soldiers who gave their lives in the War for Independence.
