This Moravian town is known to have one of the best preserved Jewish quarters in Europe. Trebic is situated on both sides of the Jihlava River. The town was established in 1335, however, a Benedictine monastery was built in the area in 1101. Notable sites are the Jewish Quarter, St. Procopius' Basilica, Trebic Jewish Cemetery and the Painted House.
