Welcome to Madrid! 

Upon entering the arrivals hall at Adolfo Suárez Madrid–Barajas Airport, a driver will greet you and transfer you to your hotel. Our guide will be ready to welcome you and will provide the necessary information.

In the evening we'll head to Plaza de Espana and Gran Via, a vibrant district where you can dine at your preferred restaurant (own expense).

This morning, experience the city on a guided tour, showcasing the beautiful Plaza Mayor (Main Square), the city's broad and magnificent avenues, and myriad fountains.

We'll also take an interior tour of the Plaza de Toros de Las Ventas, a gorgeous building that showcases the city's magnificent architecture. Here we'll learn about the tradition of corridas (running with the bulls) in the musem. Next, we'll take a walking tour of beautiful Retiro Park, enhanced by the lake and Crystal Palace.

Afterwards you'll be free to explore on your own. If you wish, there is an optional visit to the Royal Palace (admission not included).

At sunset we'll head to Plaza de Oriente in the historic center of Madrid, where you may enjoy dinner (own expense).

We'll depart early in the morning from Madrid and head towards the stunning region of Aragon, stopping in the city of Zaragoza. Here we'll visit the magnificent Basilica del Pilar and then enjoy some free time in the city center.

Later, we'll make our way to Catalunya and admire impressive rocky landscapes, making a special side trip to Montserrat Monastery. Then we'll arrive at today's destination: Barcelona!

We'll head to the Plaza de Colon and Maremagnum, a vibrant area right next to the sea. This is where the most innovative spirit of the city blends with its complex historic character. Classic Spanish food can be found alongside Indian, Chinese, and Middle Eastern food (own expense).

Today we'll get to know Barcelona, an impressive city right on the Mediterranean. Our visit includes an informative city tour with a local expert, to the historic center with its Gothic quarter dating back to the Middle Ages. Then we'll visit the area where the Olympic Games took place, and La Sagrada Familia, the magnificent basilica designed by architect Gaudi (admission not included).

Afterwards, we'll head to Poble Espanyol (Spanish Village). This open air architectural museum is situated in one of the most emblematic areas of Barcelona. Be delighted by the best Spanish craftsmanship and discover the architectural styles, traditions and folklore of the different communities in Spain.

After breakfast we'll arrange an included transfer to the train station, where you will travel by high-speed rail to Paris. The train is quite comfortable - a pleasant 6.5 hour ride through wonderful landscapes. On several occasions the train will reach speeds of around 300km/h.

We'll then arrive in Paris and transfer to the hotel.

In the the evening we'll drive you to the Montmartre district, known for its painters, artists, and cabarets. We'll ascend by funicular to the hill to admire the spectacular view of Paris from the top.

Today we'll take a scenic guided tour to discover the history, main boulevards and the breathtaking monuments of Paris, including the famous Eiffel Tower. You will have the opportunity to climb up to the second floor of this remarkable monument and enjoy a stunning panorama of the city.

Next, we'll take a boat cruise along the River Seine, which divides Paris between right and left, north and south. Enjoy a free afternoon to explore the city at your leisure.

At sunset we'll take you to the seductive Latin Quarter for dinner (own expense).

On Day 7 we will take you to the center of Paris, near the Louvre Museum. The day is yours to explore Paris at your leisure. You may also opt to join us for a tour of Benlux, one of the most popular perfumery outlets in Paris (own expense).

We'll travel through the Burgundy region of France, famous for its fine wines, making a stop in medieval Semur-en-Auxois. After that we'll travel to Beaune for a quick tour and free time for lunch (own expense). In the mid-afternoon we'll arrive in Lyon, the capital of Roman Gaul on the banks of the Rhone River.

Next up: Switzerland, starting with a guided tour of Geneva, including the UN headquarters, the flower clock, and Jet d'Eau, the tallest fountain in Europe. After lunch (own expense), we'll continue our journey through Switzerland, passing lakes Leman and Neuchatel, ultimately arriving in Zurich.

We'll take a guided stroll through the financial and cultural capital of the country, twice declared the city with the best quality of life in the world. After this we'll embark on a 2-hour boat trip across Lake Zurich. The boat makes brief stops, allowing us to admire the lakeside villages including Rapperswil and its medieval castle. After free time in Rapperswil we'll return to Zurich by train. Enjoy an evening in the historic center next to the lake, where you can dine at the restaurant of your choice (own expense).

Prepare to be mesmerized by beautiful landscapes defined by pristine lakes and soaring mountain peaks. Take a stroll through Interlaken with ample time for a coffee break before we take the cable car (ticket included) up to Grindelwald-First.

There we'll take a 30-minute walk among fantastic scenery with glaciers all around us.

After that we'll continue to Lucerne, one of the most beautiful cities in Switzerland. Once back in Zurich, we'll take you to enjoy an evening at the city’s most popular restaurants (own expense).
