How to rent a WiFi? 
1. Select your destination and choose your preferred data plan
2. Choose your activation start date and end date. The activation start date is when you want your WiFi service to start. For example: If you're traveling to Europe, and you want to have WiFi from the day you land, you pick that day to be your activation day. Please note our activation time follows Eastern Standard Time.

Can I check my data usage?
If you are using a U2/U3 device, daily data usage may be checked with any mobile browser.
Connect your device with GLOCALME WiFi. Enter 192.168.43.1 into the address window. The account and password are both 'admin'. Log in to check your daily data usage.
What device will I receive?
All customers will receive U2 or U3 Device for rental orders.
Will it work on an airplane?
Sorry, your GLOCALME hotspot will not work on an airplane. GLOCALME partners with local cellular carriers to provide outstanding data service for our users. Only satellite technology works up in the air.
Will it work on a cruise ship?
GLOCALME will work by ports or on land where there is cell reception, but not far out at sea (only satellite technology is available far from land). However, GLOCALME Hotspots will work when your ship gets closer to ports and at cruise destinations. The closer you are to land, the better connection you will receive.
Do I get unlimited data usage?
Generally, data usage is unlimited, but in some regions and countries, FUP (Fair Use Policy) may be applied when an individual user has exceeded a certain amount of data within 24 hours. When the data usage reaches 500MB within a day (24 hours), the connection speed may slow down to 384kbps for download and upload speeds. The connection speed will recover to high speed again the following day.
Do I have to configure anything before connecting my device to GLOCALME?
No configuration is necessary. Turn on the GLOCALME device then select the wifi hotspot name on your device. Enter the password located on the back of GLOCALME device.
What devices does it work with?
Any Wi-Fi enabled device, such as smartphones, laptops and tablets, will work with our GLOCALME WiFi hotspot device. Up to 5 devices may be connected simultaneously.
What is GLOCALME?
GLOCALME is an international WiFi service provider. GLOCALME WiFi hotspot can connect any WiFi enabled devices such as smartphones, laptops, and tablets to 4G speed internet. It requires no SIM cards or cables, and can be used in over 130+ countries or regions around the world. Wherever you go, just turn on your GLOCALME WiFi hotspot and enjoy surfing the internet.
 
【Order/Payment Issues 】
What is activation start date?
Activation start date is when you want your WiFi service to start. For example: If you’re travelling to Europe, and you want to have WiFi from the day you land, you pick that day to be your activation day. Please note our activation time follows Eastern Standard Time.
How can I pay for my order?
We accept payment via Visa, MasterCard cards and PayPal.
Can I cancel my order?
You may cancel an order before it is shipped out. If the device has already been shipped, your order cannot be cancelled. You will need to return the device to us once you receive it in order to process any additional refunds. A shipping and/or restocking fee may apply.
How far in advance do I need to place my order?
We encourage you to place your order as early as possible - you don't want to leave this to the last minute.
We offer free ground shipping which takes 5-8 business days.
However we understand that some plans are made last minute only - in which case we suggest selecting Express Shipping (3-5 business days for $9.90) or Next Day Shipping (1-2 business days for $29.90)
What if I am travelling to multiple destinations?
If you're travelling to multiple destinations, choose your WiFi based on your locations.

【Delivery/Returns 】
Is there a fee associated with rental returns?
Please contact us (E: supportus@ucloudlink.com, T: +1 (877) 402-7626) for a return label after your rental day come to the end.
Return Device: Kindly contact us within 2 days for a return label. Customers will need to pay $5.90 for return label.
Before shipping out GlocalMe portable WiFi, we will check it to make sure it is in perfect condition.
What if I lost my return label?
Please contact customer service, we will email you a new return label.
When will I receive my device?
Orders with free ground shipping will be shipped based on your order start date. Normally the delivery would be 7~10 business day prior to the start date. If you need to an earlier delivery please send a request with your order number to our email.
Orders with express and next day shipping will be shipped within 1 business day. Orders placed by Noon EST Monday through Friday will be processed the same day. Orders placed on weekends and holidays will be processed the following business day.
Free ground shipping takes 5-8 business days. However, we understand that some plans are made last minute only - in which case we suggest selecting Express Shipping (3-5 business days for $9.90) or Next Day Shipping (1-2 business days for $29.90).
What if I am not able to return the device?
You are responsible for the safe and timely return of your GLOCALME Wifi device. If you fail to return the device back in time, you will be charged $9.99/day for every day after two business days. If the device is lost or damaged, you will be charged for the full cost of the device amounting to $100.
How do I know you have received my return?
You will receive a confirmation email once we have received your return.
How can I return the device?
Please send email to ask for a return label. Please attach the return label to a box containing the device and drop off at any US post offices within 2 business days after the end date of your order.
Alternatively, if you choose not to use the label offered, please ship your return prepaid and insured to: GlocalMe Returns Bei yang 47-15 160th Street FL2 Flushing NY 11358.
I need to change the shipping address for my order, but my order has shipped!
So sorry for the issue! You should still be able to update your information on the USPS website! If your package returns to us due to an incorrect address, it will be cancelled and refunded; you will be notified if this happens.
Can I change the shipping address or other information for my order?
We will be happy to change the shipping address, or extend the rental period for your order! Please email our customer care team with your order number and the updated information ASAP, as we are only able to make changes to your order when it has not yet been shipped.
What if the order arrives after I have left for my destination?
We apologize for the inconvenience. We do our best to make sure you receive the device before leaving for your trip. However, if for any reason, you don’t receive the device, we will issue you a refund.
 
 【Technical Support】
How to charge the hotspot?
There is a USB charging cable along with the hotspot. When the hotspot is being charged, the battery light on the device will be blinking, and the indicator on the charging cable is showing red. The battery light will become solid when fully charged and the indicator on the cable will turn green.
Tips: If it is alway green indicator and no light on the device, please adjust the connection between cable and the device. We recommend using a power outlet instead of laptops for charging the device.
How to avoid using my own data?
To avoid roaming charges, please follow these steps: Turn on settings -> Select Network/Cellular -> Turn Data Roaming/Cellular Data off
I did not receive my order confirmation email! Did my order go through?
If you did not receive a confirmation email, please check your spam/junk folder, and notify us via email.
Can I purchase a device?

I am travelling for an extended period. Am I able to use this device for 2 months?

Yes. Minimum rental period is 5 days.

Deposit:

2. Return Device:
Kindly contact us within 2 days for a return label. Customers will need to pay $5.90 for return label.

Before shipping out GlocalMe portable WiFi, we will check it to make sure it is in perfect condition.
3. Shipping Fees:
It's FREE SHIPPING on all orders to the United States. You can also choose express shipping which costs $9.90 and next day shipping which costs $29.90 for the United Sates orders.
4. Change of Address:
We cannot change the delivery address once it is in transit. If you need to change the place to deliver your order, please contact us within 24 hours of placing your order at supportus@ucloudlink.com.
5. Cancellations:
Normally the orders that have been shipped out (you have received the tracking number or your order status is completed) cannot be cancelled. If you have to refuse delivery after the package is dispatched from GlocalMe due to force majeure, you are subject to the return and refund policies and must pay for the original shipping charges, which will be deducted from your refund.
6. Parcels Damaged in Transit:
If you find a parcel is damaged in transit, if possible, please reject the parcel from the courier and get in touch with our customer service. If the parcel has been delivered without you being present, please contact customer service with the next steps.
The time we mentioned in the itinerary is for reference only. Please refer to your guide on tour for the actual arrangement. The visiting order and duration might be changed according to actual and practical situation for better service.
This tour/activity is overseen by a select local operator in the region. Upon booking your tour or activity and after receiving confirmation, you will be issued an e-ticket detailing the local operator's name and contact information.
