Make your way to the Evan Evans Office 45 minutes before your scheduled time and collect your vouchers. This will include a voucher for your afternoon tea as well as the admission ticket for Buckingham Palace. The palace operates a timed entry system and you will be booked for the 1:45pm time slot. Please be there 15 minutes before.


Buckingham Palace State Rooms

Buckingham Palace serves as both the office and London residence of Her Majesty the Queen. It is one of the few working royal palaces remaining in the world today.

When the palace is not being used in its official capacity, visitors can enjoy the State Rooms, which form the heart of the working palace - nineteen rooms, lavishly furnished with the finest treasures from the Royal Collection, including paintings by Rembrandt, Rubens, Poussin and Canaletto and some of the finest English and French furniture.

Visitors end their tour with a walk along the south side of the Palace garden, which splendid views of the west front of the Palace and the famous lake.

To mark the 200th anniversary of the birth of Queen Victoria, a special exhibition Queen Victoria’s Palace at this year’s Summer Opening of Buckingham Palace will tell the story of how the young monarch turned an unloved royal residence into the centre of the social, cultural and official life of the country.

Afternoon Tea at the Rubens at the Palace (4:30pm)
