After flying into Mexico City, you'll be free to transfer to your hotel, check-in, and relax for the rest of the day or explore the city at your leisure.

In the morning you will visit the most impressive site in Mexico City, the Teotihuacan Pyramids. Built in 700 BC, Teotihuacan was one of the largest city in the world with over 200,00 population. This fascinating historical site is home to the amazing Sun Pyramid, Moon Pyramid and Avenue of the Dead.

To continue this historic journey we'll travel onward to the legendary Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe, the holiest catholic church in Mexico and one of the three must-see pilgrimage churches in the world.

After breakfast we will have a morning tour of National Museum of Anthropology, one of the finest museums in the world. With over 200,000 artifacts, it displays Mexico's colorful three-thousand-years of history.

Then we'll travel to the Zocalo, once an important Atzec site, which now serves as the main square of Mexico City. We'll also visit the largest cathedral in the Americas the Mexico City Metropolitan Cathedral and the glorious National Palace, which houses the presidential branch of Mexico's government. In the afternoon we'll continue on to the canals of Xochimilco and its lovely floating gardens.

We'll depart for a morning flight to Tuxtla Gutierrez Airport. Upon arrival, we'll transfer to San Cristobal de las Casas and check-in to our hotel. The rest of the day is free to explore the city and enjoy the lovely food from local restaurants.

From San Cristobal we'll depart to visit San Juan Chamula and Zinacantán, typical Indian towns, where the people have blended their traditions, language and customs with modern Catholicism and culture. This is characterized by the church of San Juan, which is host to various traditional ceremonies.

After touring these cities we'll return to San Cristobal where we are free to explore this beautiful city: the Market, the Cathedral, Santo Domingo Church as well as the Jade museum to view King Pakal´s tomb replica.

Today we'll travel to Agua Azul, a series of waterfalls that cascade atop each other with gorgeous turquoise water. If time permits, we'll have a short stop at Misol-Ha waterfall to see the white waves descend 35 meters into a clear blue pool. Afterwards we will continue on to the Maya city of Palenque.

This morning’s highlight is the tour of Palenque and it's wealth of amazing history. As one of the most important sites of the in the Maya history, the Palenque's Pyramid of the Inscriptions, King Paka's sarcophagus and its fascinating carved gravestone were highly preserved. We will tour the Sun Temple, the Cross Temple and the Palace. In the afternoon we'll enjoy a wondrous view of the ocean as we drive along the Gulf of México towards the beautiful walled city of Campeche.

After breakfast in gorgeous Campeche, we'll depart for Uxmal to tour the amazing archaeological site and its wonders, including the Pyramid of the Magician, the Quadrangle of the Nuns, Governor's Palace, and the Ballgame Court. We'll travel from this historic site to Mérida, the White City.

Upon arrival, we'll see the Montejo Avenue and it's amazing sculptures, including the Homeland Monument, the architecture of the Main Square, the Merida Cathedral, and Government Palaces.

We'll begin with a morning tour of Chichen Itza, the prime Maya ruin site in Mexico. Declared World Heritage Site by UNESCO, the advanced architectural and astronomic knowledge is spotted all over this city. We'll take in this amazing architecture and history as we visit Temple of Kulkulan, the Great Ballgame Court, the Skull Platform, the Temple of the Jaguar, the El Caracol Observatory, the One-Thousand Columns Square, and the Sacred Well.

In the afternoon we'll depart for Cancun, the crown jewel of Mexico’s Caribbean coast.

After breakfast you may transfer to your flight and return home with a collection of amazing memories and stories to tell!
