Learn of its early American Colonial history with cobblestone streets lined with historic buildings and Christ Church the former place of worship for both George Washington and Robert E Lee.

Then you’ll visit George Washington’s former estate, Mount Vernon. The estate has been preserved and designed to provide you with an interactive experience as to how the estate functioned during the period when George and Martha Washington owned and operated the plantation. The estate includes various buildings, gardens, a museum and learning center, and the final resting place of George and Martha Washington.


Option 2: Arlington Cemetery
