The morning is at leisure in Fairbanks. Typically in the afternoon, you will be picked up from your hotel and transferred to Borealis Basecamp, approximately 45-50 minutes north of Fairbanks. Less than an hour from the city of Fairbanks, Borealis Basecamp is not a destination, it is an experience. Stay overnight in exclusive igloos similar to those utilized by polar expeditions and research stations. Crafted exclusively to maximize Northern Lights viewing and comfort, these domes are intimate retreats in the midst of an Alaskan winter. Clear, curved windows stretch 16 feet across each dome roof which allow you to lie in bed and view the dancing northern lights and scenery outdoors without leaving your cozy nest.Day 03Borealis Basecamp

Today, relax and enjoy all the camp has to offer. Included today is an ATV or Dog Cart Tour or later in the season when snow conditions allow (typically starting mid-November) a snow machine or Dog Sledding Tour. Any of those tours are approximately 1 hour long. (Only one activity is included, please choose at the time of booking).

* 63 days or more prior to the departure date: 30% penalty fee;

* No-show on tour, 100% penalty fee. - This tour requires an American visa. We suggest you follow the EVUS handbook to apply for a visa and only upon obtaining it will you book a tour.

- The Aurora Borealis is a natural phenomenon. There is no way for us to guarantee that you will see the Aurora. We do our best to provide premier locations for viewing, should the Aurora come out. Please check weather and Aurora reports before booking your tour with us. If the Aurora does not appear, your money will not be refunded.
- The time we mentioned in the itinerary is for reference only. Please refer to your guide on tour for the actual arrangement. The visiting order and duration might be changed according to actual and practical situation for better service.
- This tour/activity is overseen by a select local operator in the region. Upon booking your tour or activity and after receiving confirmation, you will be issued an e-ticket detailing the local operator's name and contact information. If you require assistance finding a specific tour, please contact us for more information.

* The domes at Borealis Basecamp are suitable for 1 or 2 people. Triple occupancy requires a rollaway bed. Quad occupancy unfortunately is not possible. Parties of 4 people will have to book 2 domes.
* Domes are furnished with 1 King bed (convertible into 2 twin beds) Wifi, Sitting Area or Kitchenette and hot water pot (no cooking facilities!). The en-suite bathroom has a toilet, shower, and sink.
*Tour departures until mid-November include a choice of an approximately 1-hour ATV or Dog Cart Tour. Tour departures starting mid-November include a choice of an approximately 1-hour Snowmachine or Dog Sled Tour (weather & snow conditions permitting).Reservation Info
