There aren’t enough days in the season for us to list all the lovely flowers that are blooming this Spring. Cherry Blossoms are by far one of the most beloved and sought after plants to see during the blooming periods, especially given that some species only last for a week, but there is another breed of flower that has garnered the attention of world travelers: the infamous tulip.
In the summer of 2015, I had the opportunity to volunteer in Kenya and experience a safari. The safari was in the Masai Mara of Kenya, one of the most renowned places for safaris in the world. This is where you can find the “Big 5”: the elephant, lion, jaguar, rhino and water buffalo. This is also where my perspective on the world changed as a result of my experiences.
Earlier this week we discussed the Washington, D.C. Cherry Blossom Festival, possibly the most well known cherry blossom festival outside of Japan, and the things to do in D.C. for the budget traveler. We’ll admit it; we spoiled Washington, D.C. a bit by giving it the limelight. However, we’re all about spreading the love, and thought we’d share all the great spots around the world to view the blossoms bloom this spring.
