Hi Lidia:

These optional tours are offered while on tour, no matter how many passengers are interested in the tour, as long as the location is open for business.

In addition, most passengers on tour opt to participate in both of the optional tours you are interested in.

Thank you for your inquiry.

Q:
What type of buses (make, model, company, etc.) are used on your tours. Also, please comment on driver qualifications; how are they chosen; how are their driving history and safety records assured ? With so much time on a road tour such as this one, I want to feel confident about quality of the vehicle and its driver.

Hi S.Stockwell:

The model and company cannot be confirmed until we have the reservation.

We normally use a tour coach bus that can sit up to 6o people.

All our drivers are hired through the tour provider.

We try and hire the best most qualified and most experience drivers we can find.

All our customers while on board ( only inside the bus) are covered with our insurance, we take the best safety pre-causion while you are on board with us ( although we can never predict when a problem may occur).

Please also consider purchasing travel insurance so you can be sure you are 100% covered.

Thank you for your inquiry.

Q:
I went up on the web and found a number of reviews about your tours and the biggest issue was the Chinese and English spoken by the guides. I don't have a problem with this provided that if Chinese is spoken that an English version is also spoken. One of your reviews you mentioned an English only tour. Is that available and what might the dates be in 2013. I want to insure that our party gets the most out of the trip. Look forward to your response and have a wonderful day! Frank

Hi Frank:

This tour is a Bilingual Tour guide.

He will speak both English and Chinese.

We truly apologize but at this moment the 2013 schedule for our Yellowstone tours are still not available.

Due to the harsh weather changes in Yellowstone, we do not operate this tour until the winter has gone.

Typically, the 2013 dates will become available in February 2013.

Thank you for your inquiry.

Q:
Dear Sirs, First we are planning for next year minimum 3 people. The question of meals is clear as to price and responsiblity. Is there adequate time and availabilty for meals at the designated stops? When you speak to English and Chinese - does that mean the tour guide will explain or provide tour information in both languages? I notice only three reviews of the trip, is there a reason for so small a number of responses? Looking forward to next year! Sincerely, Frank

Hi Frank Howd:

The tour guide will make the meal stops at Fast Food Courts or International Buffets.

The meal stops are done regularly and last about 1 hour.

Yes, the tour guide will be providing the information in English then Chinese.

We offer many tours, and similar tours so some of them have more reviews than others. They also depend on popularity.

Thank you for your inquiry.

Hi Yoshinori Matsubara:

You need to start the tour on the day you selected as a departure.

Once you arrive at the Salt Lake City airport from your hometown, please take the hotel shuttle bus ($6.00 per person) or a taxi and self check-into the hotel. Stay overnight in Salt Lake City.

Thank you for your inquiry.

Hi Peichi:

For this tour, you need to self transfer to the first night hotel by the hotel shuttel bus. The check-in time for the hotel is after 3:00pm, so we suggest you not to arrive too early.

Q:
Dear Sirs / Madams, I noticed the following remark regarding a stay in Yellowstone within the frame of the tour 85-2944: "Please note that you will be guaranteed to stay in the Canyon Lodge or other hotels inside Yellowstone Park for the dates with standard prices except for 4/14, 4/21, 4/28, 5/05, 5/12, 9/12, 9/26, 9/29, 10/03, 10/06". We are planning to book the tour starting in LV on 26 September. Will the tour rate increase for this date or we'll just stay at another lodge in Yellowstone? Also please, advise me which places are visted in Yellowstone during this trip, as they are not specified clearly in the itinerary. Thanks a lot.

Hi Irina:

We cannot guarantee a stay inside Yellowstone for those dates, since they are blackout dates for the hotels inside Yellowstone, but we will try our best to arrange reservations at those hotels for that date if they are available.

In Yellowstone you will tour around the major attractions such as Old Faithful, Artist point, mammoth hot springs, the grand canyon of yellowstone, etc.

Thank you for your inquiry.

Q:
Dear Sirs / Madams, Could you advise us which tour is more interesting - this - 2-167 - or another similar tour 85-2944 (we plan to join any of these tours from Las Vegas on 26 September). We just see that the tour 2-167 is marked as 'highly recommended' and the tour 85-2944 doesn't have such remark though there are some additional interesting places along the route that this latter tour includes in comparison with the tour 2-167... Also I'm interested if the places that are visited in Yellowstone are similar or different for the both mentioned tours (as for the tour 2-167, the sights in the park are mentioned clearly in the itinerary, but it's not quite clear what is included in the tour about Yellowstone in the tour 85-2944). Please, advise me accordingly. Thank you in advance.

Dear Jacqueline , thanks a lot for your prompt reply. It's actually really useful for us. I also noticed the following remark regarding a stay in Yellowstone within the frame of the tour 85-2944: "Please note that you will be guaranteed to stay in the Canyon Lodge or other hotels inside Yellowstone Park for the dates with standard prices except for 4/14, 4/21, 4/28, 5/05, 5/12, 9/12, 9/26, 9/29, 10/03, 10/06". We are planning to book the tour starting in LV on 26 September. Will the tour rate increase for this date or we'll just stay at another lodge in Yellowstone or at some hotel ouside Yellowstone? Kindly advise me accordingly. Thanks a lot.

Hi Irina:

The main difference between these 2 tours are the various locations they stop at and the hotels used during the tour.

2-167 is listed as highly recommended, as it is most popular with our customers.

The locations that are covered in Yellowstone are also similar on both tours.

The biggest difference that customers find between the 2 tours is the hotel accommodation in Yellowstone park.

Tour 85-2944 offers hotel accommodation in the park, while tour 2-167 stays outside of West Yellowstone.

Thank you for your inquiry.
