How can it be that tour "[sea-MR-B (B)]", which is 7 days long, costs only $388, and tour "5 Days Yellowstone National Park Bus Tour [LS-YB5]" which is 5 days long costs $459? Is it a mistake?
Actually it’s not a mistake. There are several reasons for it:
1. Different departure cities, hence longer distance for LS-YB5
2. $388 is our summer promotion price for MR (B)
3. Different tour providers
The first departure for this tour will be May 2007, if you are interested, please give us the exactly date you want to go , so , we will try our best to confirm it for you.
Sorry about the confusion. Our information was misleading. We have rectified the error. This tour starts from Las Vegas and will be concluded in Las Vegas as well. You are going to spend two half days in Yellowstone National Park. For Mt. Rushmore and Grand Teton, you are going to stay two to three hours in the parks. You are going to travel in a deluxe motor coach equipped with video or DVD players. Tour guide will play movies for guests at appropriate times.
However, it is a wise idea to travel with your own favorite pocket-size games, MP3 player, books, magazines or a portable DVD player to kill some time at your own leisure. And also, do not forget to bring a "neck bone"- a pillow for you to rest on.
Do most people travel in couples? How many people generally take these summer tours? Which hotels/motels would we stay at during the July 1 trip? Which day does the trip return to SLC?
Yes, most people travel in couples and with their families. So far, hundreds of people have booked our various Yellowstone tours this year. Sorry that no vacancy for July 1st trip, but we still have Jun 28th and July 5th opening for more tourists. Let us know which day you refer so that we can help you arrange your trip.
1. If my plane arrives at SLC at 12:16 pm. Will I make it to your sightseeing tour in
Salt Lake City? 2. Is there any optional excursion tour offered on this trip? 3. How long is the drive from Mt. Rushmore back to SLC on the last day?
1. Yes, you will be able to make it. Mormon Temple is within walking distance from Red Lion Hotel. There is shuttle bus service available if you do not want to
wait for tour guide and would like explore downtown, Salt Lake City, on your own a little. Or you can choose to wait at the airport; tour guide's flight is scheduled to arrive at around 3:00pm. Shuttle Bus to Red Lion from SLC is free of charge if you want to self-transfer to hotel (recommended). 2. Maybe yes, if schedule allows, tour guide will arrange optional excursion for guests. 3. It takes about 5-6 hours, but time for break will be arranged by tour guide in between Mt. Rushmore and SLC.
Mammoth Hot Springs, Norris Geyser Basin, Old Faithful Geyser, Canyon Village (Half a day will be spent at Canyon Village. You will visit Artist Point, Lower Falls, Upper Falls and so on). We will take a walk on Uncle Tom's Trail.
