Great Day Out to See the Antelope Canyon and Horseshoe Bend. It's an early start and long drive but it is really worth it. Pay your admission to the Antelope Canyon online or you will get charged extra USD 10 service charge if you want to p..ay for it on the spot.Read full review
Let me clarify by saying that the activity itself (seeing the lower antelope canyon and horseshoe bend) was amazing - the scenic views and the Navajo tour guide was excellent, but sadly this tour itself was poor. Hence why I had to rate it ..2 stars. Prior to this trip, I had read good reviews about Tours4fun but unfortunately there are a few things that disappointed me. First of all, it was hard to understand the tour guide speak in English. It's clear that English isn't his first language. Secondly, our tour guide Danny's voice isn't very loud and he didn't have a wireless microphone on him so many of the people in the van couldn't even hear him. He was driving and trying to speak with his poor English so it was very difficult to hear and understand him. Danny was also not very clever as he caused our itinerary to be delayed 2 hours behind due to the fact that he put regular gasoline into diesel. This is just sad. Was it because he didn't know the van he was driving needed diesel? I wonder how he passed his license to become a tour guide/driver. We were all disappointed to find out this truth that caused our delay. We received a new tour guide/driver named Yong after 2 hours of waiting and being stranded, but because we were 2 hours behind, he was speeding to and from the canyon. I don't blame the guy because he probably had a time limit and thankfully we did not get into any accidents. Truthfully, I want to give this tour a 5 star, but I can't because it doesn't deserve a 5 star. They didn't even compensate us for anything, a free sandwich which wasn't much (for some of us, we purchased and selected this option so it isn't "free"), but I couldn't even eat the sandwich as I am gluten-free. And we never got our free masks as it was suppose to be "included" as part of our package. I don't think I'll recommend this tour to my friends and family. I hope Tours4fun will hire better and smarter tour guides/drivers for the future.Read full review
I opted for the camping option and let me tell you it was worth it.
Our first night was in Utah, where the campsite was really cosy, clean, with well equipped bathrooms.
Our second night in Monument valley was less comfortable but the view ..compensates you.
Breakfast and lunch is included, it is mainly sandwiches but well enough.
Don't skip the Navajo meal at Monument valley.
Our guide Joel was the best we could have had. He is extremely funny and knowledgeable, no matter if it's about geography, history or popular culture, he knows the answer.
I'm really happy I got Joel as a guide as his personality added something extra to the tour.
I definitely will choose them again for my Yellowstone tour as they provide great value for your money!
