The museum partially opened its doors in February 2017 and presented a collection of 50,000 objects, presenting the Egyptian civilization from prehistory to the present day. The Hall of Royal Mummies in the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir was just an ordinary hall where the royal mummies were exhibited, like the rest of the museum's antiquities. It was designed in the form of the tombs of the western part of the continent in Luxor to embody the pharaonic tombs on which the mummies of the kings and queens of ancient Egypt were located. To access the room, the visitor walks on LED screens bearing a triple representation of the West Bank of Luxor's tombs and specific murals and walls of the royal tombs. At the same time, the images of the mummies and their coffins are displayed at the top of the entrance, with a thrilling pharaonic music performance steps from the hall door.

Several mummies have been placed in each room along with the roll of honor, a complete identification plaque for each of them, and a projector showing the story of each mummy, displaying some of the sarcophagi mummies that were found when they were discovered. On April 3, the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization received 22 royal mummies in a solemn procession from the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir for display in its permanent headquarters in the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization Fustat. The mummies date from the time of the 17th and 18th families, 19 and 20, including 18 mummies of kings and 4 mummies of queens, and last July 17 royal coffins were received. After you visit the Coptic Quarter, visit the Church of St. Sergius Coptic Quarter Walk in the Coptic Quarter of Old Cairo - The Coptic Quarter of Cairo in Egypt is the heart of Christian life in the city.

The Christian religion was introduced by Saint Mark around 45 AD, and so a Coptic community – Coptic being a term referring specifically to Christians in Egypt – began to develop. The Coptic Quarter is best known for housing many churches on a small perimeter Saint-Serge Church

Saint-Serge is one of the oldest Christian churches, built around the 3rd or 4th century AD. The Church was named Saint-Serge in homage to a former war general who converted to Christianity. The Christians built a church at this location precisely because, according to belief, it is in this place where there was a cave before that the Holy Family would have taken refuge. The Sainte-Marie Church or Hanging Church. The Sainte-Marie Church is a beautiful monument, and it is reached by stairs preceded by a corridor where mosaics retracing biblical scenes. This Church is nicknamed the Hanging Church because it is built above the trunks of palm trees that support it like stilts and these trunks date from the 4th century and still keep the Church today. The splendid interior has a thick marble pulpit supported by 13 pillars, representing Jesus and his twelve apostles. One of the columns is black, representing Judas, who betrayed Jesus. The Church houses a Christian fresco painted in a very precious vault, as it dates from the 4th century, and is in good condition, without ever being restored.

In the main hall, a Coptic icon depicts the Virgin Mary with Jesus in her arms. We think she follows us with her gaze when we walk around her. The Copts call it the Egyptian Mona Lisa, although the resemblance is remote. Ben Ezra Synagogue. This synagogue is a true architectural masterpiece. From the outside, it is nothing exceptional, but the interior makes all its interest; it is simply sumptuous. The first floor, as is the general layout, is characteristic of a Coptic church. Indeed, the synagogue previously belonged to the Christians, who were obliged to sell it because they could no longer maintain it. Then visit the souks of Khan El Khalili at your days. After the visits, return to the hotel in Cairo. Night at the hotel. Meals included: Breakfast – lunch
