Upon arrival we'll stop to see the Statue of Unconditional Surrender Kiss and the USS Midway Museum. The USS Midway has served a number of wars and become a museum after retirement.
From here we'll cross the border into Mexico (please keep your passport on you at all times).
Just over the border we'll tour Tijuana, stopping first at the Revolution Avenue to see the landmark of Tijuana - the Tijuana Arch. We'll have some free time here to shop and enjoy authentic Mexican food. After that, we'll continue our trip to old Tijuana Town Hall which was rebuilt into a luxury casino a few years ago. Then, we'll visit the Tijuana War Memorial, which recalls the history of 1848 Mexican-American War.
After that we'll return to California and finish our joyful San Diego-Mexico Tijuana one day trip.- Tips:
