About Barakaldo

This Basque Country city is part of the Bilbao metropolitan area and an alternative home base from the neighboring bustling metropolis for exploring the region. Barakaldo, an industrial suburb, is not one of Spain’s most attractive cities but does have some notable sights, including the medieval Bridge of Castrexana, a botanic garden and is the home of the Bilbao Exhibition Center.
