One of the most crossed rope bridges in the world is just 66-feet long and links the Northern Ireland mainland to the tiny island of Carrick-a-Rede. The Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge, situated 98 feet above the rocks below, is open year-round and offers views of the nearby Scottish coast. The site and surrounding area is designated an Area of Special Scientific Interest for its unique geology, flora, and fauna. Underneath the bridge are large caves that can also be explored.
