About General San Martin Park

Central to the city of Mendoza is the San Martin Park, named in honor of the general who led the Argentinan war for independence. At 971 acres, the parks houses the Estadio Malvinas Argentinas stadium, the National University of Cuyo, a monument to the Army of the Andes, and the Franke Romero Day Ampitheater alongside a variety of museums, theaters, and a zoo.
