This freshwater lake in Northern Ireland is the largest in the British Isles. Six rivers flow into it and one river, the Lower Bann, flows out. Lough Neagh is 18 miles long, seven miles wide, and used as a water source for Belfast. Visitors can explore the many attractions and recreational activities in and around the lake, such as fishing, boat trips, wildlife watching, biking, golf and canoeing. See 55 species of owl at World of Owls sanctuary or visit Crosskeys Inn. Built in 1654, it is Ireland’s oldest thatched pub.
