The city of Mobile, Alabama is located at the head of the Mobile Bay and north-central Gulf coast. The city of Mobile was originally the Fort Louis de la Louisiane, and went under European settlement which began in 1702. The Mobile Museum of Art is one of many museums in Mobile; one of the most popular is the Battleship Memorial Park which features the battleship USS Alabama, which was the sixth ship of the United States Navy.
