This U.S. National Natural Landmark is the largest cave system in Texas and is located near San Antonio. Natural Bridge Caverns were first explored in 1960 by St. Mary's University students Al Brandt, Joe Cantu, Preston Knodell Jr. and Orion Knox Jr. It was named after the 60-foot natural bridge above its entrance. The caverns offer tours, precious stone panning, zip line activities and a maze.
