One of the most popular museums in Amsterdam, the Rijksmuseum has stood for over 200 hundred years and is considered the premiere home for Dutch artwork and antiquities, featuring master pieces like Rembrandt’s “Night watch,” Johannes Vermeer's "The Milkmaid," and Falconet’s "L’Amour menaçant." The museum is open from 9am to 5pm 365 days a year, but the ticket box closes at 4:00pm. Visitors are welcome to take photos or film, but are forbidden from using flash, tripods or lights. The museum is located at Museumstraat 1, 1071 XX Amsterdam, Netherlands, and is accessible from Amsterdam's Central Station with the tram lines 2 and 5 (Rijksmuseum tram stop).
