The Boston Episcopal church located within Copley Square in the city's Back Bay neighborhood is famous for its architecture that was designed by Henry Hobson Richardson establishing Richardsonian Romanesque style. Trinity Church was constructed from 1872-77 after the church's Summer Street location burned down in 1872. More than 100,000 people annually visit the church that is a U.S. National Historic Landmark. Trinity Church was named one of the "Ten Most Significant Buildings in the United States" by the American Institute of Architects and is the only American church make the list. The structure also contains magnificent murals and notable sculptures.
